New working experience

Friday, August 10th, 2007

I’ve been helping out Jared at his baking ingredient shop in Shah Alam section 9 for almost 2 weeks. It’s was a good experience and fun. ‘Do I want to help him permanently?’ I don’t think so. I don’t mind helping him now while I was jobless or even next time when I start working, I’ll still help him on weekend. I’ve learn all lot about the products and also about baking. I’m even happy to share with some of them my baking experience and even teach them how to bake. From that on, I’m really interested in baking. I’ve asked Jared when the baking class start can I be the one who teach? Jared laugh out loud, and said I’m not a qualified chef and how can I be the one who teach and he don’t want to receive any of the complaining or loss any of the customers. J Ok then since I’m not qualifying then I’ll just sit there and learn….

I’ve deals with quite number of customers and some are really ‘LCLY’ especially those Datin’s and some are very scary even want to bargain with me because of the 10 cents and some are very nice and funny and also some of them just walk in (mostly guy) and want to give me a compliment without buying anything ‘feel like kick their ass’ and even asked a lot of stupid question. And some the aunties don’t believe that I’m actually married and they said I look so young how come so fast be MRS??? and follow by how many kids I’ve and if I said I don’t have kid then will follow, when I’m planning to have one? My gosh aunty ‘give me a break’… Yati, Jared’s staff, she told me if anyone have ask me  the same question again just tell them I’ve 3 kids, but Jared said no, should tell them I’ve a dozen of kids and let their jaw drop. hahahahhha

Ok I’ll try :p

Well, customers are always right, so have to be patience with them. I think I’ve learn a lot how to control my temper when come to deal with those customer. J

What I want to do??

Friday night and not feeling well had a gastric attacked again from this afternoon after a late lunch, supposedly going to CG tonight but because of the gastric attack so have to stay home and now sitting in front of my house pc serve through some rubbish, while waiting for some of my pictures upload and also chatting with of my friendster friend in msn messenger.

Giving up an interview this evening, suppose to go for interview in

Kelana

Business

Center

this evening, at first I don’t really have an interest in the company but I’ve click apply online for the job. On the same day that I apply and I received a call from the company and asking me to go for an interview on Friday 5pm, well I’ve said yes.  But I still have doubt about whether should I go or not.  So finally on Thursday night I made up my mind that I’m going. Yesterday night I was thinking to reprint my resume and found out that I don’t have any A4 papers left at home so I’ve saved my resume into my thumb drive and bring it along with me to Jared’s shop to print out the next day.

This morning I’ve getting ready to go to the shop  and as dress up OL look for the interview. I was planning to leave Jared’s shop at 4.15pm so that I wont be late. At 3.00 pm I still have doubt to go for the interview, but when i wanted to print my resume, guess what when I open the file, my entire file format has been a mess so I asked Jared ‘how come like that?? Then he answered me ‘oh I don’t have Microsoft Word in my pc’ I was like ‘doink’…. is this is the sign??? That this job not means for me or I shouldn’t go for the interview. I’ve been asking Jared whether I should go or not but he said is all up to me lo if I don’t feel like going just don’t go lo’. So basically his answer is not helping at all. So I’ve made up my mind and pick up my hp and dial the company number n tell the lady that I wont be able to go for the interview because I’ve another job offer, ”Yes. I lied’ if not what should I say??? I just feel the industry is not the one I wanted to work. The company as mention, they’re doing in a lot of different businesses and it makes me confuse.

Actually, I’ve so many things wanted to do but I just don’t know how to start…Human is always like that? Or is just me??? After the Europe trip I’m so eager to plan for my next trip, sometimes I just wanted to go as backpacker, but Jared swear that I can’t go as backpacker, he said I’m such a princess and always complaining non stop… bla bla bla bla…. Apala Jared not supportive at all…. He always said I’m a spoiled brat…ya which is spoiled by him hahahhahahahha

What’s my next plan?? What I really wanted to do??? Still thinking well if any of my plans won’t work just so I has to stick back to my safer plan like find a job and work as a secretary…bla bla bla good ideal also I guess…

London & Paris Trip’07

Thursday, August 9th, 2007

Img_2323_c I really liked London and really had a good time over there. It has been a blessed trip and have met some very nice people. On these trips I have the opportunity to be exposed and had gained confidence in my communication with people. The weather was nice and even though it was considered summer, it wasn’t at all hot. In fact, it was raining. I simply hated the rain over there as when it rains, it just simply appeared and stop in a sudden. The wind was blowing so strongly, Jared’s favorite umbrella went inverted.

The hotel (Berjaya Eden Park, London) that we were staying in was Img_2654_c_1 so tiny, the room and especially the bathroom appeared to be almost almost cupboard-like. But it was situated strategically and conveniently close to 2 underground (aka subway aka tube aka LRT), namely Queensway and Bayswater. Img_3991_c_1 There were lots of shops in the area, your friendly neighbourhood souvenior shops, M & S, even 2 Tesco Metros, a shopping complex-Whiteley, loads of Chinese, Indian, Greek restaurants and heaps of other asian eateries. Can’t seem to finish the introduction bit over here. But I will be penning out my journal in London for all to see what was in my dImg_2113_caily schedule while I was there and the many places of my visits.

Img_2686_c

Img_1954_c_1 I really enjoyed bumming around the park over there, reading, watching cute doggies playing n running Img_2630_c_1 around. Hyde Park was almost literally a stone’s throw from the hotel we were staying, so for obvious reasons, we were there often, sometimes spending our time there, having our b’fast, a couple Img_1925_c_1of buns, a steaming hot cup of 99 pence coffee and hot chocolate, siting there n eating.

I love the markets over there, my favourite being Portobello market, Img_2166_c_1 selling truckloads of antiques, wedgewood pieces, and house decor. It’s a pity we couldnt bring back more stuff cuz is too fragile. Img_2167_c_1 Jared found heaps of sellers dealing with antique cameras, bringing home 3 with him.

Couple more of my fave spots had to be Charing Cross Road, just shops and shops offering nothing but books, and of course,a few favorite ‘Mills and Boon’ titles which were banned in Malaysia followed me home, though expensive it may be compared to M’sia.

Img_2562_c Another thing which is a ‘must-not-miss’ in London are their endless shows and musicals on Broadway, expensive as they were, but you just have to Img_2563_c experience it. In fact we watch both the classic ‘Les Miserable’ and the newly introduced ‘Wicked’, a prequel to the Wizard of Oz.. I truly enjoyed Wicked more, Les Miserable is classic and that you will probably not get to watch in M’sia or even S’pore. As for ‘Wicked’ it’s new and the storyline was simply brilliant. Love it!

Img_2413_c I did have a chance to stumble onto the Harry Potter Premier in London, by coincidence that is, that we were headed towards Chinatown for some cup noodle and as I pass by Leicester Square, screaming masses were about. Img_2430_c I ran n see… omg!! It’s THE Harry Potter Premier. It was so crowded that I asked Jared to get his camera ready, taking some pics while waiting … sooo long for the ‘Harry’ and ‘Hermoine’ but sadly before I got there, they already left. Actually the exact location is Img_2425_c in Leicester Square Odeon Cinema’s side, n I was on the other end, not many celebrities walk on our side. By that time I ran to the Odeon it was too late. All the celebrities had already taken their seats inside Odeon.

Actually,I got to go for this trip because someone liked Jared’s Img_2729_c Img_2774_c Img_3033_c Img_3069_c work. The wedding venue was so nice, Img_3094_c Img_3131_c being my 1st time attending and English wedding. It is just like what we always see in the movies, nice garden wedding and all. The venue is ‘The Img_3049_c Fennes’, and the London.

Ok, I’ll try to finish my London trip journal soon so that I can post it out in my new xanga blog. Ops…I’m still not that familiar with the website yet actually :p but no worries. I’m a fast learner I’m sure I will have no problems figuring it out. Anyone of u can recommend any good website for bloging?? I don’t even know how to post a picture in the friendster blog :p so shy… I shall continue my London & Paris trip account on my next blog. Img_1902_c_1Img_3859_c

Busy busy

Tuesday, August 7th, 2007

It’s have been some time that i use this blog. I wanted to blogging about my London trip and introduce to some nicer n some of my favourite places in London. But i really have no time to do it. I’m even more busy now compare to last time that i;m working. I dont even have much time to spend infront of PC, what i do is i just quickly check my email, that it. I also wanted to apologize to some of my friends that i didnt reply their email or i have been so long didnt chat with them through msn, trust me i really wanted to, but i really dont have time.  I;ve been busy helping out Jared’s new baking ingredient shop in Shah Alam and also busy travel with him when he got any wedding shots. Well.. i hardly have my own time to blogging, chatting, replying email or even doing shopping which is i think is good so that i can save some money. hahhahahha

I think i will be going back to work soon n currently looking for a job now, have learn my lesson so now i dont really rushing to look for a job even though i do have a job offer but if i really think is not suitable i rather dont accept it. I wanted to look for a job can work long term instead of keep on changing.

I’ve found another interest, i always love to cook but not bake.  But since Jared has open his shop i found out that i really enjoy doing baking, after came back fr the shop, i ‘ll start to bake till 11pm or 12am.  So far i’ve made ‘banana choc-chip muffin, marble cake and cup cake’. Tonight dinner im going to bake ‘Beef Red-Wine Pie’ and also Almond Crisps.  Planning to start a "Kennes’s Bakery" soon. I do hope so…… Ciao…….
